Folks,
i would like to know whether Dell international warranty can be claimed across different country in the world. e.g: i purchased Dell XPS with 3 years warranty in USA, on the following year i have to work in Australia or any other country. would i be able to claim the warranty if there will be something wrong with my laptop? if yes, how do i update dell that i am moving to another country ?
could you share if you have experienced the situation as stated above?
thank you for your time

Yes it will work. Im a US Soldier living in Germany and transfered all 3 of my Alienwares to Dell/Alienware EU for warranty work that had to be done on my systems.

Kurth,
Thanks so much for your valuable sharing in regards to Dell international warranty. Apprecicated it

Did you get Complete Care?.
Thanks -
I asked Dell warranty department myself when I had travel concerns myself. -
Suppose I buy laptop in US with NextBusinessDay and Complete care.
I moved to Europe and transferred the warranty. I get only NextBusinessDay, but not Complete care.
Now the question is, if I come bank to the country of purchase, i.e. US. After warranty transfer will I get Complete care back again? -
Why would you transfer the warranty at all? I am working and living in Canada (for 5 years now), but get my notebook computers through the central office of my employer in Germany (with "Complete Care"), due to various reasons. Whenever I have a problem, I just call the Canadian service number (or where ever else I happen to be) and get the on site service call initiated.
The worst that can happen is that you spend a few more minutes on the phone while they create the service call for an international system. Surely beats loosing Complete Care!
