    The mouse buttons are soft.

I am selling mine (Dell has stopped making/selling them as far as I know). PM me if interested, for price & config.

6400 is outdated. Consider Inspiron 1520/ Vostro 1500 instead, unless you are getting a really good deal on that 6400.

A similar-configured (minus webcam) (my FS Dell Inspiron 6400 specs are at the bottom link in signature) Dell Inspiron 1520 comes upto about $ 1440 (with Tax & with Free Shipping).

A similarly configured 1520 for $1440 ?? I dont think you are referring to DELL US, maybe in some European DELL site....

Because from DELL US site, a better spec (to your i6400) can be bought for around $1000 (or maybe even less) with current coupons.

    Just to clarify:
Go here (Dell US website)and customize it to the specs mentioned for the Insp 6400 (15.4 WSXGA+, 1.6 GHz Core2Duo, 160 GB HD, 2 GB RAM, 256 MB Video, 9-cell battery, etc,...)

Only thing the one in the sig doesn't have is Bluetooth & an integrated webcam.

Yeah, I don't think Dell sells the Dell 6400 anymore. If you want to buy a Dell 6400, I checked out the link in zmdmw52's signature and it seems like a real decent deal. I got mines about a year ago at $756. He's asking for more because his laptop has 2GB of RAM, a better video card than mines, and a 9-Cell battery. Upgrading to 2GB of RAM is roughly near $100 so it's pretty much the same deal.

A bluetooth module is sold on eBay for about $20-$30, so check there if you are interested in having bluetooth capibilities.
