Anyone notice the Dell inspiron system, or CPU's fan is kind of annoying? I have a i6000 before and now I am using i9300, the fan is just....keep running, and never stop... especially when I am working in the middle of night, the noice is so obvious.

Anyone have the same experience and is there any problem can able to change the fan speed a little bit?

slowing down the fan speed could cause you 9300 to over heat because of the much bigger video card... my 6000d has the fan come on 2k rpms around 40-45 degrees C and kicks into 3.9k rpms around 50 or to drop down my internal temp to 35 degrees C...

YOu could always use something to force your computer into the lower clock speed... I do that purposively... when my computer is on the optimal battery setting for the video card and 800 mhz no fan on.. it idles around 31 degrees c and takes away to get upto 40 fo rthe fan to kick in.

some fans aren't meant to be on all the time... just running at full speed all the time might burn them out faster... The term faster is relative because your fan could wear out in a year or 3... Like I said it's just more likely it will burn out faster if it is ran constantly at full power...

As long as you aren't runnign your computer 24 hours a day you aren't going to need to worry about your fan wearing out and breaking.. unless you are trying to force your fan to run faster then it is suppose to... I don't even know if that is possible unless you try to send more power to the fan causing it to run at higher speeds or if you have to hack the hardware/software controls on it.
