    Dell Inspiron won't shut down

    My Dell Inspiron won't shut down...I have to manually close it. Does anyone know why :rolleyes:

    Are you talking about Windows doing a proper shutdown? Which Inspiron is it? What OS are you running?

    I'm running Vista on Inspiron 1545.
    When I shutdown from the start menu, it closes programs and then s in shutdown until I turn it off manually
