    Hi all,
    I recently bought a DELL Inspirion n5010 i5 with 4GB DDR3 ram.

Now a days there's problem with the touchpad! :(

Its not at all responding some times and if we try to reboot it; it may work but in some attempts its also not possible.

I have reinstalled the drivers also but nothing happened.

Now I am using an external usb mouse to overcome this problem.

Taking to a service centre is not possible for me for atleast 2 months.

If anybody know why this is happening, please respond! :)

I'm afraid I can't offer a fix, but I've got exactly the same issue on my i5 Studio 1558 - Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver; the touchpad sometimes works for a few seconds but most of the time it's unresponsive!

guys in device manager there would be the driver for the touchpad for ur system so delete the driver completely and then install the latest driver frm Welcome to Dell Support which u will find after entering ur service tag in drivers home menu under input drivers
just install this after u delete the previous drivers and then restart the system issue is fixed for u!
