Well I made a thread about this but Ill also put it here just in case nobody responds:
Ok so since yesterday my laptop a Dell Inspiron 14R has been acting really weird. So first of all the laptop when I sign in it takes longer then before for it load up. Then when it shows up after a while it freezes and it changes the aero theme to windows basic theme and it unfreezes but then it changes back to aero back and forth at random times, when it changes theme there is no pop up messages or anything. So I do a defragment on the disk but it didn't work, then I start up safe mode and scan it with Microsoft Essentials and Malwarebytes but it didn't find anything.I also reinstalled the video drives but zero changes.

So I decided to do a System Restore but when I open it there is none available....wth? I recently haven't installed or downloaded anything and I don't know wth to do. Suggestions? Help? btw it is running Windows 7 64 bit home with 3 GB of RAM. Oh and I ran diagnostics and no problems showed up.

    ok
for system slow at startup plz try:
open msconfig > goto starup tab > disable all the startups
again goto services tab in msconfig and check mark the option hide all microsoft services
then click on apply and ok to restart

now open the run command and type prefetch and open it up and delete all the folders and files there its just temporary files

again open run command and type %temp% and delete all the files frm there also

now restart and check ur system for startup issue

also update the latest video driver frm support.dell.com and also update the bios as well for the other issue

Note: plz keep the adapter and the battery connected while updating the bios and the battery shud be more than 10% charged

hope so after u try this ur issue shud get fixed!
