    My dell 1300 is making strange sound i have attached it!!! Pls helpme !!when this sound happen the green led harddrive is truning on and after that everithing is all right!!! No blockinig on my screen nothing apsolutly nothing only sound

    it maybe just the spinning up of ur hard drive typical grinding like noises in that case are not so unusual but run a few test just to make sure that it isnt hdd failiure

    if its from the soeakers and sounds like static try reinstalling the audio drivers from the manufacturers website by downloading tem from the support section
