    Hi Guys,

Please help me to solve my problem in my notebook. Dell Inspiron N5040. When I plug the AC Adapter into the outlet, led indicator was seen in the ac adapter itself. When I insert the power to the laptop, led indicator goes off. Tried changing the the ac adapter but still the same. Reseated / cleaned all cru's and tried one by one, still the led indicator of the ac adapter goes off. It seems that there was a shorted parts on board. I removed the motherboard including the memory, wireless card, processor and tried plugging the ac adapter, still the led indicator goes off.
What would be the possible parts to be replaced?

Thanks in advance for your help

This. You need to buy a new board.
