    Dell Inspiron N5010 return to factory condition?

    Cousin gave me said laptop to fix. Goes into repair mode at startup most of the time, IE crashes on start, virus found on MSE not getting removed. She doesn't have a restore disc. I searched for howto on model, but don't see any Dell related software in start menu.

    I saw the partition when starting W7 disk check, how may I initiate it?

    To use the Factory Restore Image you can click the link below for instructions. If the Factory image is corrupt or does not work you will need to manually reinstall Windows. Information on how to do this is also listed in the link below. If you do not have a Windows disk you will need to have your cousin request backup disk from the link since the system may still be in their name.
