    Dear Experts,

My Dell Inspiron N5010 gives a Beep Code while booting and the screen does not show anything. The Error code is 4 Short Beeps first(Only once) and then 8 short beeps keeps repeating.

I found that 8 Beeps are for Display failure. However, when I connected an external display , I was able to boot and login to Windows and did a repair. But after restarting , the same issue repeats and I am not able to even login by connecting the external display.

I tried removing the display cables and reseating it. Could someone help me on this issue.

    regards.

    Hi viveknair,
The 8 beep codes from the Inspiron N5010 indicate that the LCD has failed. Since the issue persists even after you’ve tried reseating the LCD cables, the LCD will need to be replaced. Please do let us know if the laptop is still under warranty.

Please do write back in case you need any further assistance on this.

    Thanks & Regards,
