    Hello,

-Last week, I was updating the BIOS on Dell Inspiron M301z (from A02 to A05) on Windows 7 when the laptop suddenly crashed to a blue screen (BSoD). I have to disconnect the AC adapter & remove the battery to turn it off (pushing power button have no effect).

-Now, whenever I put in the battery or connect the AC adapter, the battery status LED immediately lights up in amber/orange, and stay continuously like that (solid/static/not blinking) until I pull out the battery and AC adapter. Pressing the power button yielded nothing (no LED/other lights, no spinning fan, no HDD starting up, nothing). The laptop is totally dead silent.

-I already tried BIOS recovery method (pressing END/FN+B/WIN+B/other keys while connecting AC adapter) but nothing works as the laptop never power on at all. I also opened the laptop & disconnect the internal RTC/CMOS battery, but it's still the same.

-Any idea(s)? The warranty just expired on 23/09/2011; could someone at Dell helps me?

-Any and every help is really appreciated, thank you.

    Regards.
