Alright, so I've got an older Dell Inspiron 600m and it was working fine, doing what I needed it to do. Now all of the sudden, if I'm playing a game, or watching a movie, after about 5-10 minutes of it, it suddenly gets all jumpy, and slow, maybe laggy is a better term? Like the fps drops to around .5 or something similar, and when I go to close the window, or minimize/maximize windows its horribly slow. If I restart it fixes it, but only for a few moments, then it will do it again. Any suggestions?

Would appreciate any suggestions or help.
