    Hi

My laptop screen blackouts if AC is plugged in. If AC is plugged in on start up, it will seem normal at first (BIOS screen and Windows start up is visible on screen), but after about 10 seconds there will be a beeping sound followed by the screen going black. However, if you close the lid and open it again, the screen will restore itself for about 10 seconds before beeping and going black again. Furthermore, if you unplug the AC and let the laptop run on battery power, the screen will not blackout at all and will run normally.

Can anyone help me fix this problem?
