    Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron E1505.
My computer has been working fine until recently when I reformatted the computer.
Suddenly, my touchpad started to lag. It starts to jump everywhere whenever I move it. My keyboard is very unresponsive, I can't even hold down a button for it to read it would read only once and sometimes it doesn't read the letter I type. It took me about 10 minutes just to type this whole thing up.
To sum it all up :
Touchpad jumps everywhere, not smooth when you move it.
Keyboard : Sometimes does not read a button, very laggy, and does not work holding down a button.
    I'd appreciate any help.
    Thanks.
    EDIT:
Also, I just noticed that the left and right buttons of my touchpad are very laggy as well.

Thanks alot atbnet. After upgrading my BIOS everything has been working fine. Even though it's sort of pointless telling you my OS now, I am using Windows XP Media Center.

    Appreciate your help!
