    my enitre screen has shifted to the right, my background picture, programs and the start menu. i dont know what happened or how to shift it back to normal. what could have caused this and how do i fix it? i barely know anything about computers.

    Are you talking about being rotated 90 degrees? Do you have a picture?

    Might want to check out your video drivers and maybe see if it was rotated.
