    Hi Alpinerob,

It is not possible to replace only the non working keys, the entire keyboard has to be replaced. Please send me the system Service Tag(including name on the account and contact details) via Private Message, so that I can check the warranty details and let you know the options available.

You can also buy a keyboard on eBay.

This. Will definitely be cheaper than any warranty options at this point.

There is also a slight chance you have a motherboard issue... did these keys just suddenly stop working or did you spill something, etc?

Keyboards for older systems like the Inspiron 9300 can be gotten for as low as $15 in some cases. Granted, most of these cheaper units are used, but on sites such as eBay, the seller will usually say if the keyboard was pulled from a working computer or not.

You can also look for that keyboard on Amazon if you feel that eBay might now have what you want as well. But you don't really need the Service tag to know the keyboard just pop off the power button cover and there should be two screws to remove and you pop the keyboard from the top and watch the ribbon cable and flip the connector that holds the ribbon in and off comes the keyboard. And do this with care one shouldn't rush this but take your time with it. Also under the keyboard will list the part number for the keyboard and you can cross that number with eBay and amazon to find the right keyboard. Amazon might be more expensive but you have to make sure you part number matches up with the one they are selling either in eBay or Amazon and that should at least find you the right keyboard replacement. But also is this problem limited to those two keys and did anything happen prior to this problem coming about?

I doubt that is really needed as taking out the keyboard isn't too hard to do there are plenty of site that can show the OP how to remove the keyboard and after that they just have to look under the keyboard and it will tell them the part number of which they can cross with eBay or Amazon to find the right replacement keyboard.
