Just received my 9300 and I like it except for the resolution when using it with the Battery. There is a great difference in the resolution - much darker and hard to read.

Is this common with this model?

Anyone else have this problem? Recommendations?

What do you use your 9300 on, i.e., word processing, photography, games etc.?

Should I get another brand...I like the 17 inch screen.

    Thanks...

The power settings are set up so that the screen is darker on battery to conserve electricity.

If you don't like it you can either change it in the bios, display settings under power or using the dell quickset application or using the function key + up arrow.

I don't think it's worth sending back because of this. I have a 9300 too and I love it!
