    Dell Inspiron 9300 AC connector replacment

    I have looked at the Dell pdf files to take apart the 9300 to get at the motherboard. Has any done the replacement of the ac connector with a new one? Does this require removing the whole motherboard, or can you re-solder the connector without removing the board from the chassis?

    You'll need to remove the motherboard from the chassis.
