I am looking at buying an new Inspiron 9100 for work, actually two, the only problem I have is that my boss has pointed out thet these only come with WXGA screens and our projector is XGA.

Will this work together without issue?

IS the setup easy? And what is it can I set the laptop display to be XGA when doing pressentations, or can I have diffrent setups between the laptop display and the external display (Projector)?

If any one can help me out here I would be greatfull as if I get this wrong I am sure he will make me pay for the machines.[xx(]

Yes, you can do this easily. There is a setting for external monitor that can be adjusted. Most times it's plug and play, so you won't have to worry about much of anything.
