I keep getting low disc space messages even though I have deleted all but essential programs and documents. I have only 166mb left and can't understand what is taking up all the disc space. The only thing i havent tried is deleting one of the microsoft.net framework programs there seem to be 3 of them, do I need 2.0 service pack as well as 3.0 and 3.5?? I have disabled the system restore but no difference.

Do you have system restore points automatically backing up everyday? Those take up precious hard drive space..
