    Hey guys,

My power supply broke, and I need a new one for my Inspiron 8200. I've looked at the universal Antec NP100, and the Kensington power supplies, but they are far too expensive.

I was wondering where I could get a UK specification, 90W Dell Power supply that has the old "3 prong" type connector. Can anyone recommend any decent, and reputable UK suppliers. I don't really want to buy off eBay, or Amazon. It looks like Dell does not manufacture the original Power supply any more, as Dell's UK website only sell the Kensington 120W Powe supply.

    Thanks a lot,
    Mayz.

If you can easily find a cheap US type adaptor then why not use a simple adapter or cut off the US power plug and connect a UK power plug ?

I wouldn't mind doing that as I have a UK power cord, but I want to buy from a reliable retailer, based in the UK.

If you can't find the exact one you need on Laptop-Chargers Mayz, drop them a line, with as much info about the PSU as possible.
Ideally, they'd want the original part number, else at least provide the voltage/amps, and confirm the connector type.

It'll likely be a chap called Dave who gets back to you, and he was very quick (<24hrs) to respond when I had reason to contact them a while back
