    Ok, well heres the rub;

    Last night i went to open my laptop's LCD screen and i do not think i used any more force than what i usually use in opening it, and the LCD Hinge Broke... just the right LCD hinge, and well although i do admit the LCD Screen has been loose for quite some time, it just broke last night.

    i got online with Dell support and they told me i would have to pay for a new one, and that it would be plastic.. excuse me, but the one that just broke is metal, and you want to send me a plastic one... what crazieness is this? it will break 4x faster..

    my parents have used this laptop for the past 4 years and they recently got two new ones, so i got their old one. so they used it quite a bit before me... but has anyone else experianced this problem?
