Also, I'm very curious about the 4k screen. It seems to be a SHARP panel?

    Please don't get it.
I just received mine here in Australia, literally today and this is what I've found so far.
It has the i5 6300HQ and I'm getting core imbalances of ~15deg and the LCD panel is terrible.
Chi Mei CMN15C4 1080p TN panel.
Please just spend more and get a proper (IPS) panel and/or wait till the GTX1050 replaces the 960M.

A colleague just got his delivered today and though the first impressions about the build quality were good, the rest of the story may not be as good. The model he got was the top-spec with an i7, 16gb RAM, 512e SSD and 4K panel. He is yet to run any benchmarks but here's what we did and the observations:
What we did - casual surfing, with about 10-11 IE windows open at the same time with one tab of Youtube and another of an online streaming website, Media Player playing in the background, a couple of Word documents and an Excel and a few folders.

Observations - the most surprising thing was the battery dropping its charge like anything; about an hour of above got the battery level down to less than 60%. Even my old Alienware M14x never did that when new & I just can't compare it with my Thinkpad E420.
Secondly, the fans were mostly turned on at an RPM that was easily audible in a reasonably noisy environment too (i.e. people chattering). A quick check on HWMonitor showed that the temps were touching 80s though they always stayed below 90. Core temperature differential was existent in the range of 10 degrees. Heat could be felt on the belly of the laptop and made it unsuitable for use in a lap.

Now, this might be a problematic piece and we are going to be returning it for a replacement. Does anyone else have any stats or benchmark scores?

I'm about to return mine for a refund because of the screen and poor temperatures.
    My specs, i5 6300HQ, 1080p TN panel, 960M

    Prime95: ~80deg CPU with ~15deg core imbalance
Prime95+Furmark: ~99deg throttling CPU with ~17deg core imbalance, ~75deg GPU

The cooling system looks huge but it seems to be terrible in practice.

The TN panel, don't even talk about it. Lenovo used it in 2014 for a budget gaming laptop and everyone was swapping it out.
Dell is reusing the same panel in a late 2016 laptop.
