I recently purchased a 6400 that comes with a 256MB(shared) Inteal GMA chip.
I'm not too keen on this, and was wondering if it is at all possible to remove the chip and put in a decent one?
    Thanks.

Its not possible, unfortunately. Only a handful of notebooks have upgradeable graphics, and no notebook with integrated graphics can have an upgrad, unless the motherboard is changed.

Well it comes with a core duo 1.83 processor and 2GB RAM.,
Will it be possible to run any run any reasonably modern games?
    Cheers.

Probably run it at the lowest setting, if possible. if you have to upgrade the graphic card, the motherboard also needs upgrading.

It will sturggle with most games, but there are some older and maybe a few new games, that should run okay on low to medium settings.

    Upgrade the motherboard?
    Crikey, no thanks!!!
Looks like I'll have to stick with it.
It'll run World oif Warcraft no problem though, I'd expect?

Yes, but again, Low settings and most likely low (800 x 600 or lower) resolution.
