    Nice find. e1505 looks like the e1705 but 15.4", or in other words -- the Core Duo version of the Inspiron 6000. High end card looks to be the the X1400 with 128MB while the mid-range is X1300 with 64MB and of course there'll be an integrated graphics offering. The X1400 with 128MB and a Core Duo will actualy give rather nice performance, better than the current i6000 can give for sure. S-video, ExpressCard, multi-card reader, no PCMCIA.

    I thought someone mentioned in another post that the Dell rep at a kiosk told him only the 17" would remain duos.

    I checked that link to find if there was any information to that regard, can't find any. Anyone know any place where there's some sort of official speculation?

    It should have the duo processor. That is what the excel file said.

    Your asking about Dell's 17" 9400/E1705?... yes, of course those are and will remain Core Duo. Not sure of your concern though or why you even brought it up in this thread.

    this thread is talking about the 15.4" variant... the 6400/E1505. And yes, these too are Core Duo as you can see :)

    Well I guess I should have clarified a bit further. I meant to say only the 17" laptop line would remain duos, and that the new variants would be solo only. I know what the thread is talking about, I clicked the title after all :)

    Yeah that's why I inquired further, couldn't find any specs on the support link; guess I have to dig deeper. But ccbr mentioned it was mentioned it will be duo in the excel file. I didn't get a chance to check that out yet.

    He probably meant the 17" is the only one with core duo as an option but the other models will have core duo and core solo.

    The excel file said core duo, ati x1400, and truelife screen for the e1505. I wouldn't think that Dell would change the game plan because of a leaked file.

    W00t there it is. <<;

    J/k... I can't get any of the images to work. But Silverish and white is probably a Dell Inspiron trademark for years to come.

    That's ok ygo, I wasn't too clear anyways, sometimes I think one thing and say, or in this case type another =P

    Yeah I agree meta, probably be the look of the inspiron for a while to come. Although it leaves something to be desired in the aesthetics dept. I think with the deals/coupons and the latest tech. they put in their laptops, Dell are best bang for your buck.

    I think with the buisness Dell does. They don't have any clue the Inpiron line isn't the most pleasing to look at.
