    Hello,

All of a sudden, after some time, when I turned the laptop the screen has become very dim and I can't get it back to normal. I tried Fn+Up but it doesn't work.

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 6400.

    Thank You, Amor

Can you change the brightness directly from BIOS? Give it a try.

Have you tried telling your power settings, not to dim on battery, or something.

Yes, I have. When I turn on it just is dim. I can't do anything.

Might be the same problem I am dealing with. Only thing is my screen goes completely black. I will be replacing my inverter as soon as it arrives.
