    Hey guys,

I am looking into buying a laptop, and I am selling my desktop to do that, but I have 5.1 speakers that I bought for the desktop and I don't want to let go of them, they're the Logitech X-530 5.1.

My question is, does the Inspiron 6400/E1505 support 5.1? What if I get the Audigy?

No. The integrated sound card that comes with the E1505 does not support 5.1 sound. Even if you get the Audigy upgrade it will not work, as it's simply upgraded software and drivers using the same sound card. In order to use 5.1 sound you are going to need to buy an external sound card.
