Does anyone know the difference between the Dell Inspiron 600m and the Latitude D600? Is it more than just a marketing scheme to target the home user versus the business user?
Are there any positives or negatives between buying one from the other.

    Thanks.

You're right in that they are essentially the same notebook hardware wise but with a different case and totally different marketing for consumer versus business. A 3-year warranty is standard with the D600.
