    Dell Inspiron 6000 drives

    I have a Inspirion 6000 and want to put a slot load DVD+/-RW drive (either Panasonic UJ-845-B or Pioneer DVR-K04L)in. These drives have the 50 pin connector for interfacing with the laptop. Are these compatible with the Inspiron 600? Has anyone added either of these drives to their system? Thanks.
