    Hi,
I am looking for an Inspiron 6000 and just saw a deal for it on Dell site.

    Following is the cofiguration.
Pls let me know whether having 1.6 GHZ processor is ok for the following config.

    Dell Inspiron 6000 Pentium M 725,1.6GHz, 15.4" UltraSharp WUXGA, 2GB RAM, 100GB, 8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, Windows XP Professional, 3yr At-Home Warranty + Free Dell 720 Color Printer

    Final Price : $2010 - $750 = $1260 + $24 Handling + Free Shipping + No Tax in most states.

    Thanks in advance,
    Siddharth

i'm not sure i understand what you're asking about the 1.6 ghz processor? what do you mean by is it "ok" ?

anyways, for comparison info, i paid 1275 for the specs in my sig so i think for 2 gb ram, 100gb, dvdr, xp pro, 3 yr warranty and printer, that is an AMAZING price.

    Welcome to the forums,

For me, i rather have a higher processor, and get lower ram since the ram is easier to upgrade in the future. Besides, dell always overcharges for ram.

The price is in the right range.
