    Hi Experts,

I require your help with regards to my Dell Inspiron 5160 Laptop.

Recently, the HDD died and I got a new HDD. I used my desktop to partition the new HDD. When I put it in the laptop and changed the BIOS setup to boot from CD ROM with the Dell XP CD .. it doesnt do anything. It's not recognising the CD rom or something. I dont kow what to do . Please help.

NOTE: Earlier HDD was 80GB .. the present is 160GB, Bios identifies it as 137GB. I have a desktop and connected the new HDD via USB then used disk mangagement tool in Win XP to partition it.

    Regards
