    Hey Everyone,

I just bought a Dell inspiron 5160 for $900 (shipped). Here are the specs.

Although i already bought it, i'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me if they had any problems with this particular model, and some do's and donts, or general opinions on either the whole notebook, or specific parts. Also, some specific questions:

1)what do i need to know before i start using it?

    2) Is it sturdy or pretty fragile?

    3) does it get hot quickly?

    4) Does the screen suck?

    5) Does the video card suck?

    Pros:

    Fast computer
    Decent screen
    very good battery life

    Cons:
    extremely heavy
not a good video card if you want to play games
    can get very hot
    extremely heavy

I suggest you reformat the hard drive to get rid of the excess garbage dell installs for you. it will make your computer run a lot faster.
