I have just come into posession of a Dell Inspiron 5100. When I try to boot it, I get the Dell logo followed by the message " Please type in the hard-disk password". I have no idea what the password is. I cannot access the Bios (press F2 at Dell logo?).
    Any ideas, please?

You can try removing the drive and seeing if you can access BIOS. However, we are not supposed to discuss cracking passwords on this board. Closed.
