I was given a Inspiron 5000 last week it seems to be in pretty good shape. Except I noticed that the cooling fan on the the back only comes on when I turn the lap top on it runs for about 10 seconds then shuts off. My question is should this fan be running all the time? If so do you think the problem is the fan?

    Thanks
