    Dell Inspiron 1720 desktop help!

    hi on my dell 1720, the was a programs bar on the desktop at the top of the screen showing quick links to e.g internet explorer, videos , music , pics, webcam and others. the problem is that when i reformated the hard drive it wasnt there anymore, if anyone know what it was called or knows how to get it, then that would to great. :)

    Lol as soon as i got my 1720 I took that off because it was annoying. Don't know how to put it back up though, sorry mate.

    I think you're talking about the Dell Dock - it ships with most new consumer desktops and laptops. There are a couple of different versions but I think you need to download this one:
