Has anyone seen an actual review / evaluation of the 1720 Inspiron yet? If so, do they like it?

    TIA

Bump. I'll second that. All I can find is one generic review with no great insight or comparison used by both CNET and ZDNET.

I'm trying to find out why a high-end configuration of the Inspiron 1720 seems to be a lot cheaper but better than the XPS 1710 high-end gaming laptop. And why the XPS is still using the NVIDIA 7 Series graphics cards when the more general-purpose Inspiron has already got the 8 Series.

I think it's because Dell is waiting for NVIDIA to release an 8800GT or GTS before they upgrade the XPS line
