    That's a lot of bang for your buck. The CPU is a budget offering but still plenty fast enough for most people and the 120GB HDD isn't generous by current standards.

    My reservation would be with the warranty and the GPU. It says "manufacturer's standard warranty". Dell offers one and three year warranties. The nVidia GPU may have problems within the computer's lifetime and you may want to cover that risk. You may want to shell out another £100 and look at this version of the Inspiron 1720. It has a better spec and 3 years on-site warranty.
