    Hi,

I have this notebook for about 5 days now. There is one thing thats a bit annoying, it seems like my 1720 has the same processor noise in the headphone output jack as like in the 1520, but i only get this when there's no noice on the output so if i play games or music i dont hear that processor sound anymore. My advice to those who are still waiting: drewl on these pics and movie and wait it out! Don't cancel, the waiting is really worth it.

Games i have played succesfully with amazing performance and settings on this 1720:

    - Wolfenstein enemy territory
    - Battlefield 2
    - GTA San Andreas
    - FSX
    - SWAT 4
    - Oblivion (sometimes crashes, but that may be because of driver issues)

    The vista prestation index:

    - Processor: 4,9
    - Memory (RAM): 4,8
    - Windows Aero: 4,6
    - 3D graphics: 5,2
    - Hard disk speed: 4,9

So that's it, if there is anything more you need to know about this notebook ask me and i'll try my best to answer the questions.

Also the pics are good for those deciding between anti-glare and glossy screens because you can def see your water cooler(or w/e that is) in the reflection!

You look like you're going to assault that laptop in the vid.

Actualy its a sort of thing that pumps up water, not a cooler. But indeed the screen is reflective. I always close the window-shield (or how do you call it) behind me, I just opened it for the pics :). I have another window in front of me that i open, so the light is not directly into my screen... ;) . So indeed, people who are planning to buy this screen should keep this heavy reflectiveness in mind!

What do you mean assault? :p

yah it is a gorgeous screen, but I am happy with my anti-glare. I'm just one of those people that is always bothered by glare. But again, it is gorgeous!!

good pics mate... one thing... are the sound and mic outputs on the right side of the laptop? if so that will be a real annoyance since playing FPS games my hand will always hit the output cables that stick out the side... :(

Yes indeed, the sound and mic output/input are on the right side. At first I tought that would be a problem to but it doesnt seem to botter me. The cable doesnt stick out that far.
