Right out of the box this laptop has been stuck at 100% disk use. Not sure what to do bout it

    Windows 10 Home Build 17763 x64
    Core i7-8565I CPU @ 1.8Ghz
    UEFI BIOS mode
    BIOS version 1.4.1

    Tried these steps from https://www.cleverfiles.com/howto/100-disk-usage-windows-10.html
    No luck.

Windows Search is already disabled and there's no Superfetch service
    AV has been uninstalled.

I'm lost. I feel like the only thing I can do is just suck it up and buy an SSD. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Press ctrl+shift+esc to open the task manager, click "More details", and then sort processes by disk usage. What is using the disk?

Dropbox, System, Registry, Antimalware service executable. It's changing the order constantly, no one thing is taking up a huge amount of disk space

Just disabled MSI For the controller in the registry - https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/100-disk-usage-windows-10.html - I don't have storahci but I was able to follow the same workflow and find the same registry key under my sata controller

Waiting to see how that turns out on this last reboot now.
