Yesterday night one of my Dell Inspiron 15R got sudden shutdown. I tried to start it again but nothing happened. It got hanged at windows logo screen and then after sometime shutdown.
Ran the diaganostics test but failed and sudden shutdown again. Laptop 1 year cover just ended last month.
Then consulted the DELL CC. They said mobo need to be changed and charging INR 14000 for 1year break fix. Do it a worth going for it or a mobo change is ok.
Also anybody gone through same issue....please share your exp...
Updates :
Just now we went to the local Dell Service center and for just diaganostics they are asking INR 1360 and if something is found we have to pay for that component extra. And if we take the cover from the service center they are asking for INR 16300. It seems it gonna be . We think better of to go for cover online (INR 14000).
But before that we are going for the diaganostics again at home...

So...after last try to diagnostics test we were able to recover our Win 7. And saved the amount.
But as though in the beginning that something is down, we came to know that battery life is complete (Shown in battery meter). Quite a less life , exactly 1 year and 1 month the battery is gone.
Waiting quotation from Dell CC.
Can we go for some other battery for laptop apart from Dell original...
