    Folks,

I never used DELL Inspiron. I am considering to buy dell Inspiron 15R with Core i7. i will be using this laptop for software development, running VMWare, virtual box. I need your feedback about the durability of Dell Inspiron such as Battery life, Overheating ?

If you are using it for professional work, I highly suggest you take a look at Dell's Business lineup (primarily Latitude and Precision).

Consumer grade notebooks aren't built anywhere near business. Also business Pro Support is much better than talking with consumer "tech" support which reads from a manual.

The 15R isn't a bad laptop, but it only has 1368x768 resolution which is dismal, the chicklet keyboard IMO is rubbish for writing emails/general tasks.
