    hey all,
so i bought Dell Inspiron 15R recently

    my query is
i use laptop for many hours at a stretch say for 8 hours
    1. should i keep the charger plugged in all the time? i.e. continuous charging?

    or

    2. should i charge it completely then use it for 2 hours and then again turn on the charger?

i can't remove the battery and use it directly through the charger as there are frequent power outages here

    thanks in advance :)

If you're trying to save your battery, I don't think either scenario is preferable to removing the battery and storing it, but I do believe that scenario one is preferable to scenario two.
