    Yes the 15R (N5010) is on the older Capella platform (Arrandale Core i3/5/7 series and Clarksfield Core i7 series processors) while the i15R (aka N5110) is on the Intel's latest Chief River platform (Sandy Bridge i3/i5/i7).

    I am also moving this to the Inspiron forum.
