    ok guys i have one of these computers and i need to do a clean install... my hard drive is dead.... but i tried to load windows 8 from the usb... and it did not work... not sure what else to do please help. Thanks

    If your hard drive is dead, you won't be able to install W8 from anything... are you trying to say that your optical drive is dead?
