    EDIT

I realized I think I had conflicting partitions..as with a new install your supposed to delete existing partitions. However, my Dell had a couple I wasn't sure what to do with, so I left them.

I was able to install Windows 7 x64 with UEFI mode.

However, when I boot up now, I get both a Windows 7 and 8 option for installations. How do I get the Windows 8 one to not appear, as I want to auto boot right into Windows 7?

    Thanks

I am finding with my current dell, that I have to exit UEFI mode when booting from the Windows 7 DVD and put it into Legacy mode to get it to work.

    Is this normal?
