I got my laptop about a week ago.

Windows has performed a few updates since and all seems well.

I've been using it for general surfing and I have installed steam and Bad Company 2 which has been running not too badly.

Will all the drivers be up to date on this machine? How do I check and will I see a marked improvement in performance in updating them.

Some advice or a link to an idiots guide would be much appreciated.

The spec of this machine is:
    Core I3 370
    500gb hard drive
    Ati 5650

    Thanks.

Sometimes it will use old drivers. You may need to go to each manufacturer's website to download individualized drivers.

If your gaming on it I would get the latest AMD/ATI drivers from their site.
