    Hi guys,
Really hope you can help. I have a dell inspiron 1545 running the Vista OS. My CD/DVD drive no longer reads any of my DVD’s. I have not even had my laptop a month :( ! The computer recognises the disk drive but the drive itself does not recognise any sort of media. I can also tell you that before it stopped working altogether, I was getting white horizontal across the screen and a churning sound from the drive itself which as you can imagine was an ominous sign!
Can you help? Would really appreciate some professional advice.
    Thanks.
