I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. I find it jumps back in my typing either several words or lines and types from there.

Also, find that when doing AOL mail, I seem to hit two keys simultaneously and it makes the email send. Usually these are the keys g & h and have also seen it happen when connecting with the letter B.

Anyone know why this laptop keyboard does this and how can I stop it?

I am new to this forum and haven't found any similar posts like this.

    Thanks.

Lift your palms or turn off the trackpad when you type.

Thank you, but I just found out it is the shift/ctrl key that I am hitting and it makes the email go. Anything I can do to stop this? I sure hope you have an answer!

Also, why would my cursor jump back a row or two while I am typing?

    I hate this Dell.

I have the same problem with the same model computer. I think the keyboard must be shorting out or something. Did you ever get this figured out?
