    Hey mates...

    Recently, I'd formatted my gf's Inspiron 1545 with the Win7 Home Basic midia that was sent with the notebook... but, now, two things are happening: the hot keys aren't working as they should and, the ones that are working, in the same way that happens with the caps lock, the icon showing it in the screen aren't appearing... so, I'm trying to do two of the things below:

    1 - or try to recover all the funcionality of the hot keys, and also recover the popup showing what is being changed;

    2 - or try to recover the system to the standard (original) installation, remembering that the partition E: (Recovery) are present yet (4.22Gb of free space, but 9.12Gb of total space - occult files).

    In this second case, however, executing the boot (F8) during the notebook initialization, it goes until the REPAIR THE COMPUTER, and permits me to logon with the unique existing account (probably, the administrator), but, then, neither of the options permits me to use this partition (Recovery) to recover the initial state of the Dell's system... the options that are shown are:
    - Initiallization Repair
    - System Restauration
    - System Image Recovery
    - Windows Memory Diagnostic
    - Prompt

    What am I missing, and what can I do to solve this trouble?

    Cheers!
