    Dell Inspiron 1526 is now available in the Dell Outlet. It's just a 1525 with AMD instead of Intel. LINK

    Meh.

    I got a brand new 1525 with a Core 2 Duo processor, 3 gigs of memory, and a 320 gig HD for $685... so you can find a better deal than that.

    Yeah, I agree why by the AMD when you get the Intel for about the same, maybe better. :p

    Exactly.

    The Core 2 Duo is so much better. And it runs A LOT cooler.

    My old laptop had a Turion processor and it was so hot I couldn't even set it on my lap.
